Denver Sheraton Downtown
High Street Real Estate Partners and Eagle Four Partners announced the joint venture acquisition of Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in the fall of 2018. The Sheraton is the largest hotel in Denver and the second largest in Colorado. A major renovation plan for the hotel is underway, including both guestrooms and public space to coincide with Marriott International’s re-launch of the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts brand.
Located on the 16th Street Mall, a mile-long pedestrian promenade filled with outdoor bistros, shopping and entertainment and situated in the heart of Denver’s financial and business district, Sheraton Denver Downtown is one of Denver’s choice hotels for leisure and business travelers. Offering 1,231 well-appointed guestrooms and suites, 133,000 square feet of flexible event meeting room space and an award-winning, responsibly sourced food and beverage program, it is close to many local landmarks and arenas, including the Colorado Convention Center, Coors Field and much more. Hotel Amenities include a heated rooftop pool, a full fitness center and several on-site restaurants.
Embassy Suites and 1 Hotel Nashville
High Street has partnered with Starwood Capital Group and Crescent Real Estate to develop 721 hotel rooms on a 1.3-acre parcel of land directly across from Nashville’s Music City Center, a $625 million convention center. The hotel design includes a common podium with two hotel towers joined by a four-story lobby, conference area and public restaurant/retail space, including outdoor street-level public dining and a rooftop bar.
The dual-branded development consists of a 1 Hotel, Starwood Capital Group’s award-winning luxury, eco-conscious and lifestyle brand hotel eco-friendly luxury hotel brand, and Embassy Suites with over 32,200 square feet of meeting space (including pre-function space). The 30-story Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel tower will feature 506 rooms and rooftop swimming pool, bar and fitness center. The adjoining 18-story 1 Hotel tower will include 215 rooms with a wellness spa, as well as a rooftop bar and event deck area.
AC Hotel Seattle Downtown
High Street has partnered with White Peterman Properties and William Harris Investors to develop a 200-key AC Hotel by Marriott in Downtown Seattle. Located in the heart of the 10+ million square feet of Amazon offices, the development site sits on Yale Avenue at the intersection of the South Lake Union and Denny Triangle neighborhoods.

8th Avenue Portfolio
New York, NY
A High Street affiliate purchased the Hampton Inn Times Square North and Hilton Garden Inn Times Square in 2007. These two contemporary hotels are ideally located in the heart of Times Square, surrounded by Broadway theaters and only steps from Restaurant Row, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, the Museum of Modern Art and New York City's best shopping and nightlife. Located on Eighth Avenue at 48th Street, the hotels are close to Port Authority Bus Terminal, Penn Station, major public transportation and Jacob Javits Convention Center, convenient for both business and leisure guests.
Seattle Marriott Bellevue
High Street and its partners developed this modern downtown hotel, opened in 2015 in central Bellevue, Washington. Located just off of Interstate 405 and 1 mile from the Downtown Park, the Seattle Marriott Bellevue is perfect for business or leisure travelers coming to this upscale Seattle neighborhood. Outside of the Seattle central business district, downtown Bellevue has the highest density of residential and office uses of any sub-market in the greater Seattle area and is home to companies such as T-Mobile, Verizon, Eddie Bauer, Puget Sound Energy and PACCAR. High Street exited this investment with a sale to Carey Watermark Investors in early 2016.
AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown - Bellevue, WA
High Street and its partners opened the AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown in August of 2017. The hotel is conveniently located near the central business district and some of the city’s most popular attractions. High Street exited this investment in December 2017 with a sale to Aju, a South Korean investment conglomerate.
Embassy Suites Portfolio – Dallas, TX – Nashville, TN – New Orleans, LA
High Street and its partners acquired a 3-pack portfolio of Embassy Suites and a boutique annex tower from Felcor Lodging Trust in 2012. The hotels were located in Dallas, New Orleans, and the Nashville airport and contained a total of 904 rooms. With the introduction of a new management team (Aimbridge Hospitality) and thoughtful capital investments, High Street brought the hotels to a higher quality tier. High Street exited these investments from 2015-2018 through four separate transactions.
